Phase 2: Business Process Identification Goal: Identify the scope of the changes and the areas that will be impacted
Analyze current business practices compared to strategic corporate goals (External Interface Review)
Determine an action plan to progress from current practices to desired practices
Review existing client environment including network configuration, hardware, software etc. (Identify Deployment Topology).
Target areas of impact within the EHSWS application that will require alteration (Functional Requirements Review).
Phase 3: Configuring the System Goal: After identifying all areas that will be impacted, this is where the actual work takes place
Adding/Updating hardware, software
Modifying application front end/user interface
Modifying application back end, database issues and data conversion
Creating customized reports and indicators
Testing
Installation of client workstations
Phase 4: Change Management Goal: To facilitate employee acceptance and understanding of the new EHSWS system
Implementation roll-out, overview of application, benefits etc.

Phase 5: Project Implementation Review Goal: To evaluate project success and devise maintenance and enhancement processes
Review implementation process using success metrics
Identify transition issues
Review maintenance agreement and devise a transition plan
